Nearly all the courts in Chester, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware and Bucks County were closed on Monday and Tuesday due to Hurricane Sandy. If you had a DUI, driving under suspension, or any other type of criminal defense or traffic violation trial scheduled for one of those days it will be continued by the Court.

Make sure you don’t lose track of your court date. Be on the look out for the rescheduling notice, and contact your lawyer or the Court if you don’t receive a notice with a new date in the next few weeks. Your failure to appear at the rescheduled DUI
or driving under suspension trial may result in a warrant for your arrest, fines and penalties, and maybe even incarceration.
