Late last week a western Pennsylvania man was charged with DUI drunk driving while possessing an open can of beer on a riding lawn mower.  Thomas Marrone, 55, was driving the mower along a highway at just before 1:30 am. Chester County police are investigating the theft of valuables from cars in Tredyffrin Township.  Last Tuesday and Wednesday night thieves struck at the Daylesford Lakes and Chesterbrook developments. Dallas Cowboy Charged With DUI Driving Under the Influence

Dallas Cowboy Josh Brent has been arrested for DUI driving under the influence and manslaughter stemming from a crash on Saturday that resulted in the death of a teammate. The accident happened about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in a Dallas suburb, hours before Brent was to be on a team flight to Cincinnati for the Cowboys’ game Sunday against the Bengals. Brent was responsive when police arrived at the scene of the accident, and able to speak with officers. Teammate Jerry Brown Jr., a 25-year-old  on the Cowboys’ practice roster, was unresponsive and was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Chester County Criminal Escape Thwarted

Two alleged criminals facing life in prison for murder planned an escape from the Chester County Prison in West Chester. Their plans were thwarted last Tuesday.  Four people, two of whom are inmates facing life in prison for murder, allegedly planned a daring and violent escape that would have likely resulted in a deadly shootout with correctional officers. It is reported that Shamek Hynson, 32, and Saleen Williams, 21, aided by their girlfriends, developed a plan to break through security glass inside the prison’s visiting area and arm themselves with weapons from the outside.
