Philadelphia politician Cherelle Parker is scheduled to stand trial for DUI charges resulting from an arrest in 2011. Again. Back in April 2011, the police believed they had probable cause to stop Parker for drinking and driving when her car was driving the wrong way on a one-way street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. She was arrested and charged with DUI. At trial her DUI lawyer made a motion to suppress key evidence for the prosecution, which was successful. The suppressed evidence included the results from the breath test, which indicated a BAC of 0.16.
