Bucks County’s Quakertown and Richland police departments, along with the Pennsylvania State Police of Troop M, Dublin, will be participating in a DUI safety initiative throughout Thanksgiving Day and the weekend.
Beginning midnight Tuesday and running until midnight Sunday, motorists will be observed by roving patrol units and roadside sobriety checkpoints for possible DUI violations on area state highways. Other checkpoints and roving units will be active across the state in an effort to reduce alcohol related incidents. Please be particularly careful if you are driving through these areas.
